Overview:
Behr Design, LLC a marketing, web and creative agency in Sidney, Ohio seeking a website designer/developer. The position is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites according to client and company specifications, while striving to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear, consistent navigation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Hands-on website design & development
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the look and feel of the company’s websites
- Design and code online content in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain and manage company’s website hosting accounts
- Set-up and changes to email accounts
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient with WordPress platform
- 3+ years of web design
- 4-year Degree or Associates/Technical Degree
- Knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, SQL
- Responsive styling and current SEO techniques
- Strong passion for current web design and trends
- Portfolio and past work demonstrating knowledge of web development practices
- Firm understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
Recommended Skills and Experience:
- Possess solid layout and design skills
- Exhibit strong interpersonal communication and client relation skills
- Handle dynamic work load as priorities change and projects with short deadlines occur
- Ability to multi-task, managing a personal work queue while monitoring a larger process
- Maintain organized work environment and digital filing system
- Show openness to learning new technologies and expanding skill sets as business needs and opportunities arise
